I was staring out of my window, looking at the beautiful night sky. I had never saw how beautiful it was, so calm and gentle, and the stars twinkled at me. I always wondered how far they were, and how long it will take to go to them. It was just so beautiful, I felt like I was lifted off my feet and blown to the stars. My quiet time was interrupted by my mother. "Luna, please go to bed. It's 12:00, and you should be sleeping by now." she said. My mom was nice and gentle, she didn't yell much, and she always made me happy when I was sad. "Ok, mom." I said. I ran and hugged her, then I jumped on my bed. "Night, sweety." she said, and closed the door. I tucked myself with my blanket, and turned off my lamp. I felt asleep, but I woke up at 4:00 in the morning. Somehow, I just woke up, not realizing why, and I looked out the window again. I felt as if the stars were calling me, and I just smiled.

CHAPTER 2
Stella's POV
"Wow." I said quietly, peering up at the night sky. I lay on my back on the porch. The sky looked like a sheet of black covering the yard. The gleaming stars looked like gems perfectly placed inside of it. I couldn't help but be amazed at the beauty of it all. So perfect. So unreal. Yet it was real. I day dreamed about how wonderful it must be up there. The calm, quiet darkness. No one to disturb you. It all seemed like a fairy tale to me.
"Stella! There you are! Do you realize what time it is?" My mother called, rushing out the back door.
"Umm, No?" I replied condescendingly. Then I caught myself. "I mean... No mam'."
"It's nearly 1:00 AM."
"I'm not sleepy."
"Go to bed now. You need not ever stay up this late."
I sighed and sat up, brushing debris off my navy, satin dress. Then I marched into the coolness of the house, feeling very disapointed.
I quickly got into my pajamas and went to bed.
