Aldo Applesauce is a good book for kids. It is deffinetly appropriate, and overall, a pretty cute book.
It is about a boy (Named Aldo Sossi) and his family, who recently moved. Aldo is the only one is his family, worried about going to a new school. On the first day of school, he finds out he will be sitting next to a strange girl who has a mustache. He then realizes, that the mustache is fake, but still wonders why the girl wants to wear a fake mustache.
Aldo ends up spilling applesause on himself at lunch, causing everyone to call him "Aldo Applesause".
This book was a little strange, but still a good book. I loved the fact that Aldo is a vegitarian, and has 2 cats, and loves animals.
